Excursion Photos Part 1

Wow, what an amazing time we all had on the excursion! Here are some pictures from the first group. You may recognise pictures of your child doing housework. Feel free to remind them of this at any time. If you would like a copy of any pictures, send a note in and I'll print one out for you.

1/2DW you should all be very proud of yourselves.

We have had many people comment on your beautiful manners and great work habits lately.

The volunteers at the Heritage Centre commented on how lovely you were behaving, the teacher who had you last week thought you were delightful and Miss Oddy commented today on what a great class you are.

We already thought so, but it's lovely to see other people noticing. Well done to all of you, we are very proud!

Wacky Wednesday

Ok, it wasn't really wacky Wednesday but it may have felt like it to 1/2DW.
We did so many fun things!

First we read Psalm 139 and talked about how we may look like people in our family but we are all different. We all have different thumbprints because we are all unique.

After recess we made flour juggling balls with Mrs Leake as part of our writing lesson about Procedures. We got a but messy and Mrs Downes WAS wearing black pants which are now white and grey too.

Later we made popcorn. It was so fun seeing it come out of the popcorn maker.

It was such an awesome day and Mrs Downes was so glad to see us all again.
