Wind

Today 1/2DW looked at wind. Well you can't actually see wind, but you can see that it makes things move!

People need wind to fly kites. We watched a clip on the Interactive Whiteboard about the different types of wind. It went from mild to gale!

We then made paper areoplanes and tried to fly them. It was fun. Mohit and Maxwell's aeroplane went the furthest.

Have you ever seen what the wind can do? Some wind can cause lots of damage. Do you know what usually happens to clouds when it is windy? Do you like windy days? It was VERY windy last Friday!
