Over the past 4 weeks, we have had Nathan from Cricket NSW come to our school on a Friday to teach us cricket skills. He has been a fantastic teacher and taught us how to bowl, bat and catch a ball. Today was our last session with Nathan. We played a game of Fireball.
One group were the batters. Each person went up to hit three balls (two yellow, one red). The red ball was the fire ball. The other group were fielders. We had to freeze in a funny pose until the fireball was hit by the batter. We could then run and collect the balls while the batter ran between two cones. It was so much fun!

Hi Mrs Wadds and 1/2DW
ReplyDeleteNathan certainly knew a lot about cricket and you all look very professional. Fireball is a great way to practise your skills.
What did you learn the most about cricket? What is easier- batting or fielding?
Keep up the great work
Mrs Todd
