Narrative Writing

This term we have been looking at Recounts and Narratives. This week we have been reading 'The Lonely Spider' a narrative about a spider named Elanor.

We looked at the parts of a Narrative today.
Narratives have 3 main parts.
Orientation (Story starts)
Complication (A problem happens in the story)
Resolution (The problem is fixed)

We then wrote a few sentences together about what happened in t'The Lonely Spider' and some students wrote their own.
