This week 1/2DW did something a little different for Word Work. We found words in our writing that we need help to spell and put them in our Word Work book. What do you think? Thanks to Mrs Frances for this fantastic idea!

Hi 1/2DW Looks like you are having so much fun in Word Work. Isn't it great that you can use the whiteboard markers on the tables. Miss Berrell and I were experimenting writing on lots of different surfaces toward the end of last year and were rather suprised to see that the marker wiped off the table easily. Of course we know that you all know that this is a special school activity and you would never write on tables at home. That might get you into a bit of trouble with Mum or Dad! I'd love to hear some of the interesting words you are learning how to write. Do you have a favourite word? Love Mrs Pope

Wow, I love all your favourite words! I have lots of favourite words, but I think that my favourite word at the moment would have to be....cactus. I like the way it looks, I like the way it sounds and I like the way these things look and that they are very hardy. Do you know what a cactus is? Love Mrs Pope
