Today 1/2DW reached a new record in Read to Self. We were so focused and our teachers are very proud. We have been choosing books that we like to read.
Thank you for updating this blog so regularly. It is great seeing what the kids are up to in class. Oh and congratulations to everyone for breaking their old time record. Well done. Karen Holland (Kaitlyn's Mum).
Dear Mrs Holland, Thanks so much for commenting on our blog. We are so happy that you like to read it! We think maybe soon we can break 10 minutes! 1/2DW, Mrs Downes & Mrs Wadds
1/2DW. Every afternoon when I pick Sian up from school, I ask her what the best part was of her day and every time the response is "I can't decide as it is all so much fun!" Love hearing that, Thank you Mrs Wadds and Mrs. Downes!
Dear Karin, What a lovely comment! Thanks so much for your encouragement! We do have lots of fun in class. The class are so enthusiastic about learning new things. We are so happy that Sian showed you the blog! What a clever girl! Mrs Downes and Mrs Wadds

Dear Mr & Mrs Walker, Thanks so much for visiting our blog. What a clever boy you have there to be blogging at the age of 6! We are hoping our plants grow without soil too! If they don't we will be trying a different seed in two weeks. Thank you for your encouragement, we love teaching the class. Well done to Harrison for showing your parents the blog! We can't wait to show the class your comments.
HI 1/2dw, Hope your science experiment goes well. Remember to water every day. We hope you get all your dots soon so you can get a luckdip. Watch out because Kieran is trying to beat you all. Your teachers are so beautiful and clever. We hope you are all becoming better readers with daily 5. (typed by mum as spoken by Kieran)
